Meh its ok. Its not bad by any stretch but its also not great either. I hope this opens up some. Act 9 scene 4

Good just has a little to much dickel in it. Tastes a lot like barrel batch 28 which is a heck of a lot cheaper. All around solid bourbon just way to expensive for what you get. If this was even 150 I'd be ok with it

Nose is dusty peanuts and cinnamon with plenty of oak, palate follows the none with Carmel and vanilla and chocolate. Nothing fruity or floral whatsoever, finish is baking spices and tannic oak. Finish is where this one falls short. A lot of mitchers products have a slight bitterness on the finish and this is no exception.

I really do enjoy this. Once you've sipped it for a while you don't really notice the orange as much and you do initially. The bourbon used in this finish is an absolute quality bourbon. It seems most people finish things that they are trying to cover the taste of. If the orange curacao wasn't such a love it or hate it kinda thing the bourbon inside would be award winning. Not for everyone. I love orange so although it's certainly present on the palate and nose , nose especially, it doesn't overwhelm. Perfect for pairing with a vanilla based desert. Creme Brule or frozen custard. This isn't your drink 3 pours of bourbon its place is with friends after dinner in small quantities

I can't believe that Heavenhill let someone else bottle this bourbon ?!?!?! What were they thinking. This is better than any variant of Larceny and beats out most old fitz decanters

Absolutely stellar. Smoked butterscotch and Turkish tobacco on the nose to Carmel honey and grapey cherry candy on the palate. Finish is where this one lacks but over all its still outstanding.

Maybe I just love bourbon but I think this one is great.

Best one in the last few years. Maybe just because it was a fight to get this one. One sweet victory this one is. Happy bourbon season to me.

I decided to drop it a half point on the second tasting because it actually became more muted in the flavors you want while becoming more tannic. Nose is great sweet oaky slight Dustyness like an old book. Palate is slight blackberry bitters and burnt French bread with boiled peanut shells on it.
