Must be different batches of this going around. There's no way some people are giving this a 5/5 based on what I have.

Best Bookers in years

3.75 isn't an insult. I rather enjoyed this and it tastes just like 4 year mgp. Almost indistinguishable from the mayor pingree.

This whiskey made me realize I only really put a review on here when I love something making it look like I give high marks to everything. The nose on this is great but the initial palate is singed hair. It dispates quickly but still not good.

Best beam I've ever had. Absolutely stunning. Its velvety, creamy, sweet oaky, fruity and marshmallowy. An absolute must try.

I haven't had this yet and probably won't since my guess and based on reactions is this one isn't close to 21-01. That bottle is fantastic. What I am here to say is, I belive Bookers as a brand needs a revamp. Not so much in packaging but in batching and distribution. The main reason I stay away from Bookers most of the time is I love when things are complete. I can't keep up with all these releases. I think they need a spring and fall release and just have more of it. That way there is more time to get it right. Even if that means the distribution of Bookers is suspended for 2 years. Let those stocks age make Bookers at least 8 years old minimum and have 2 per year. Dont make it an LE do what Stagg jr does and you will find more acclaim.

I know its cheap and not that impressive but something for me clicked with this. Slightly nutty sweet not bitter just enough oak. This has to be different stocks than the older version.
