Tastes

Spicier than it's abv suggests. Just a solid easy-sipping rye.

Interesting. Has a fruity wine-like taste. Smooth.

Nice heat for a frigid day. Smells much hotter than it is. Sweet (but not overly) and subtle vanilla flavor.

Sweet. Tingling tongue for the finish. Otherwise, very mellow. Pleasantly surprised.

This is an odd one. Not really picking up the fruit that others taste but I would say it has a sweetness. That said, the sweetness doesn't hold a candle to the tar and charcoal notes. The peatiness is not a punch in the face but it's there and it's nice. It leaves a tingle on the tongue. Not sure I'd say it's worth the price tag but I wouldn't turn it down.

It's got a little burn. It smells sweeter than it tastes (a good thing). It's really nice!

Really easy sipping! I'd happily have this on my shelf (and in my glencairn)! Good flavor, not much of a burn.

Light. Sweet. Smooth sipper. It's very nice. There's nothing overly remarkable that would make me want to drink it over another similar whisky but I'd drink it any time it's poured for me.

Tingles the tongue and lips but doesn't burn the lungs. It's sweet but not overly. Hints of apples. I'd still call it mild. Very tasty.

Lovely vanilla. Only a slight burn for it being 100 proof and the burn gets muted pretty quickly.
