I really like what Smoke Wagon is doing out there in Nevada. Their small batch is excellent and this batch of Uncut Unfiltered is incredible - an all time favorite. This is easily the best MGP I've had to date. I'll definitely be keeping a couple different batches on hand. Batch 97 bottled September 22, 2021 at 59.06%. Notes from Aaron on batch 97: “On first sip I thought I grabbed the wrong bottle. I know 96-100 are all above 118 proof and this didn’t seem like it at all! • Upfront it’s a sweet creaminess that leans more towards the fruit forward side of flavors. Apples, pears and plums. The candy flavors are there especially vanilla. Caramel and toffee hang out in the background and add to the sweet complexity. • The finish is big and spicy with just a hint of dark earthiness. White and black are leading the spice charge on this one and they bring with them some black tea. There’s a wave of clove before cinnamon spice finally makes an appearance. It has with it a hint of sweetness. The cinnamon can’t quite make it to red hots status, it’s just not big enough and is in the background of the dominant darker pepper and rye bread spices. The spices are so big they have to fade slightly before I can tell that my tongue is absolutely coated in honey and vanilla pancake syrup. The black tea never completely fades and delicately lingers on the back of my tongue adding to the absolute insane complexity of this finish. • Fall is here and this spicy sucker is ready for cold evenings by the fire and will stand up to whatever big bold cigar you choose to pair with it.”

This lacks compared to some of the other batches from 2020 and 2021, but it's still great - well above average. Some of those other batches just set the bar so high.

This is great - well above average. A very sweet, almost dessert like sip. For the right mood and occasion.

This is very good - a cut above. I feel the lower proof keeps this from being excellent.

Managed to find a bottle well after the fact. A bit pricy, but wanted to try it after having the most recent three Wood Finishing Series releases. Not surprised this RC6 is still a nice step up from their cask strength; however, I enjoy it slightly less than the SE4xPR5, FAE-01, and FAE-02 but this RC6 is still great - well above average. Not a bad Wood Finishing Series release yet. Excited for 2022!

This is great - well above average. . A great compliment to the previous FAE-01. All of the Wood Finishing Series releases have been great. I will certainly be looking forward to the 2022 release while I enjoy this one.

This is excellent - really quite exceptional. The finishing is well done and makes this a very unique sip. I will likely pick up another in the future. Batch 3 bottled at 118.58 proof

This is a Gallenstein pick and it’s excellent - really quite exceptional. My first Wilderness Trail bottle and I’ll definitely be back. Barrel: 15E02 ABV: 57% Age: 4 years, 3 months Barrel: Canton #4 Rickhouse: A N03A7 Yeast Strain: FP1

This is great - well above average. Great price for a barrel proof bottle. I absolutely love the 110-120 proof range.
