A lot going on here.. 94 proof but it seems higher due to the lengthy finish. The fruit I get is almost like a grape raspberry thing going for a while. I also get some chocolate with caramel that goes and goes. The wood kicks in toward the end and seemingly dances with the rye.. Like I said, it drinks a little hotter because of the long finish and abundance of character but trust me it’s a good thing. This dram is absolutely lovely, 94/100 in my book Cheers 🥃

Very deliciously smooth EC with beautiful balance of chocolate, caramel, floral, and rye finish. This is definitely better than the small batch as it should be. It reminds me of high end eagle rare, just delicious. 93/100 cheers 🥃

This stuff is amazing.. Sweet cherry notes with lots of wood and a nice cigar smoke note. Many other red fruit notes (red apple, raspberry, and a juicy pear. This juice is overly juiced and beautifully well balanced. I had it up against some big hitters (4 roses single obsq and obso)and this one beat them in a blind. Great juice, cheers 🥃

A little rough around the edges and that is exactly the point to old tub.. The legs on this dram would make ZZ Tops eyes pop out. I get lots of citrus and orange with the classic nutty flavor of Jim Beam. It finishes fairly lengthy with a kick to the tonsils of full spice. I initially was taken back to old grand dad 114 and after some time with this OGD was pulling away and the differences started becoming more noticeable. This dram is a very unrefined mix of early prohibition and long beards and guitars 🎸 and I oddly enjoy it. Cheers 🥃

The nose is better than the flavor on this one. I was hoping it would give bernhiem a run for its money and it fell short. It’s a nice sipper don’t get me wrong but the bern has nicer complexity and that honey vanilla it brings can’t be touched. This one has lighter fruits and I almost get like a fuzzy peach in the finish that I like but just a bit less appealing.

Bernheim gets some hate because of its simplicity but I actually like it for that reason. I usually drink this on camping trips or when it’s cold out and it absolutely hits the spot, been drinking this for 5 years now. The mouth feel is thin but that never really bothered me. Sweet candy flavor with smooth wheat and oak vanilla. Don’t believe the hate, see for yourself if you like it or not. Palates are subjective! Cheers 🥃

First time trying this whiskey and I have heard so much hype. I can tell this one is the standard barrel because it’s just okay. Not a very bold offering but not bad. I paid 55 and I personally was disappointed with what I paid. I feel 35-38 was more appropriate for what this brings. Caramel, cinnamon, corn, slight cocoa. Not much else to this.

I love belle Meade as it’s a favorite for me. I have been looking forward to trying this particular one for a while and it’s fabulous. It tastes like Christmas in a 108 proof bottle of whiskey. Cinnamon, nut Meg baking spices, heavy wood note a nice full bowl of cherries.. It dances in your mouth with the baking spices up front and the rye kicks in after that, then finishes quite nicely with oak and sweetness. Delicious neat! Cheers 🥃

This bourbon is the Adam Archuleta of the 2001 St Louis Rams.. He could bench nearly 500 lbs as a safety so very hyped and excitement fills the soul because the media is overwhelming with the attributes. You put him on the field and he gets burnt every other drive while missing 4 tackles/game and as a fan you want to have him cut or trade him immediately. This bulleit is hyped and once you taste it you want to trade it for another immediately. Great marketing with the hunter orange and you will see it at 90 percent of bars/restaurants but not a great sipper. Yet not bad in a cocktail like Archuleta was good in scrimmage.

This scotch is the best that I have had. I am a huge MEZCAL fan along with obviously a bourbon fan and I feel I got a little of both on this whiskey. The front has a bit of sweetness followed with a heavy smoke on mid pallet. The smoke is reminiscent of the mezcal smoke that I have gotten before. It then finishes with fruity sweetness which correlates with bourbon finishes. I loves this scotch and it’s around 60 dollars where I live which is a great buy. I feel this scotch may have subconsciously invited me into the scotch world. 93/100 my rating. Cheers 🥃
