Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 7, 2020 (edited September 24, 2020)Definitely taste the willet flavor, caramel spice and mild chocolate. I’d give it an 84/100 it’s good for the buck as I paid 30 dollars for it. Knob creek is about the same price and id prefer knob all day long. -
Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 24, 2020 (edited December 11, 2020)The bottle is killer the whiskey... Not killer, it’s a little better than decent. It is smooth but no drastic unique notes come out on my pallet.. always thought this one was overrated. -
Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 17, 2020 (edited October 27, 2020)I really enjoyed this one. Heavy on the bananas and a bit lighter on cherry with just the right amount of wood and heavy on the wood I must say. The flavors were extremely bold and very well balanced. -
I picked up a bottle but after a month or two of sippping it off and on I’m not blown away. I do enjoy the chocolate on the front end but it’s a little too hot. I feel the alcohol too much in this one and that’s usually the case of a lacking of flavors. I feel and taste the strength of the cinnamon and feel the abundance of this was to overcome the high alcohol but it was not efficient enough, for my pallet at least.

Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Tennessee), USA
Reviewed January 10, 2020 (edited October 21, 2020)Love love love me some belle meade. It’s a higher rye bourbon and has heavier leather notes balanced with apricots and cherries. This is a very enjoyable sipper, sip it neat and do yourself a favor:) -
I miss this stuff when it was still under 30 bucks a bottle. I use to get it every month, ugh the good old days. This whiskey might be the best balanced whiskey I’ve had. I’m talking leather, fruit, nutm, cinnamon, buttercream, toasted marshmallow, and much more. Great whiskey! Now I’m lucky to find it under 70 dollars.

Really enjoyed this one. Heavy on the cherries, almost reminded me of the four roses single barrel with an abundance of cherry flavor. Enough oak to balance it out. Not a very long finish but a very nice sipper.. This is another one that gets jabbed bc of the simplicity but I get a lot off of this and the flavors change through the process which makes it very enjoyable. 89/100 cheers 🥃
