Espolòn Reposado Tequila
Tequila Reposado — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed September 27, 2017 (edited October 12, 2017)For the price, this is a definite keeper. It actually works well as a sipper. It has a fruity smell to it and tastes pretty much like it smells. It has a nice tequila kick to it, so it isn't too sweet or fruity. Definitely worth the buy. -
Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Tennessee), USA
Reviewed April 18, 2017It has a creamy, vanilla-toffee smell. Sipping it, you get a spicy vanilla toffee flavor that heats up as it sits in the mouth. It has a lingering, smooth heat at the end. A great summer sipper. -
This whiskey is super drinkable. It goes down smooth, and you could drink it all day. However, at it's price point, that would be pretty expensive. It has less of a kick than I was anticipating with it's high rye content. It's good, but there's not much too it. It smells and tastes like rye, with a bit of mint in there. Should be about 10 bucks cheaper if you ask me.

This is a great value whiskey. The nose is very mild, a faint honey spice smell. For the taste, it it tastes of a minty oak mixed with a bit of apple and green, pre-ripe fruit. It is a tad watery for a rye, and the aftertaste is short with just the trace of oak. But for under 20 bucks, you could do a whole lot worse.

Bacardí Superior White Rum
Silver Rum — Puerto Rico
Reviewed January 15, 2017 (edited June 12, 2020)Another rum that is solely a mixer. The taste is a tart cherry/fruity taste with overpowering rubbing alcohol. Works with Mai Tai's though!
