This whiskey is perfect for a cold night. The nose is a nice, smoky smell with tart fruits. The taste is strongly of vanilla and cinnamon, with a spicy burn that is excellent. The finish isn't too long, but enjoyable. Overall, great whiskey.

The nose is very faint, leathery with a bit of spice if you really take a big whiff. The taste is oddly sweet and light, just vanilla and spice. Very short finish, the spice doesn't linger at all. An interesting change of pace whiskey, but not really my style.

Nice and smooth. This has a light, pleasant smell and is perfectly fine as a sipper. Excellent value.

This is an ideal sipping whiskey. The nose has a bit of oakiness and sweet vanilla. For the taste, you definitely get a bit of nutty vanilla and a good amount of heat, as the rye kicks through. Low price point, solid quality.

This one wasn't great, there are far better options for a lower price. On the nose, it mostly smells like young greens with a faint hint of a sweet corn. The taste is odd. It's definitely peppery, but every other flavor seems muddled. You can definitely do better than this.

This whiskey brings the heat. On the nose you get some aged leather and spicy vanilla. There is a heavy spice flavor that tastes of smoke, spices (light pepper/cinnamon, and campfire. The finish is a perfect length. Excellent whiskey.

Affordable and refreshing. The nose has scents of apple, sweet honey, and a minty juniper smell. Taste brings out more of the apple with honey and sweet vanilla flavor as well. The finish is smooth and faint. 40% is a bit light, but at the price point, this is a phenomenal sipper.

Amazing and enjoyable scotch. The nose is almost overwhelming, with a huge blast of peat. The taste has an earthy, peaty taste with a hint of salt and a green fruity sweetness. It is surprisingly smooth, with almost no burn. Great stuff
  9. Suntory Whisky Toki

The first Japanese whiskey that I've tried. The first thing you notice is how light in color the whiskey is. The nose is very faint with some vanilla, ripe green fruit, and a light lysol-lemon scent. The taste has a bit more of the vanilla with a little bit of a minty, pine flavor. This is super smooth, and the finish is virtually non-existent. I prefer a bit more of a punch with the taste and finish, but it is nice easy sipper overall.

This really doesn't taste much different than standard Jameson. The nose is a bit fruity, smelling of apples and spice. The body is smooth to drink, and has only the slightest IPA taste on the finish. Meh.
