    Sweet dark cherry nose. Wood and vanilla flavor profile with touches of fruit and chocolate. Semi-oily/fluffy mouthfeel with a slight bitterness on the aftertaste.

    Butterscotch-esque nose. Lots of wood and citrus in the flavor profile, much like the 20 year. Nice creamy mouthfeel.

    I can’t pin down the nose on this one (aside from vanilla), but the flavor profile is (of course) woody. In addition, I’m getting some smokey citrus on the backend. Nice, but not what I’d expect for “The #1 rated bourbon in the world “.

    The nose has a heavy vanilla and butterscotch Lifesavers vibe. Flavors are rich and complex with a hefty dose of wet oak. Mouthfeel is thicker than the Lot B for sure, but short of what I’d call “buttery”. Certainly a nice bourbon.

    Far different than my first taste of Lot B more than a year ago. This one is pepper/wood-forward, sharp and a little bitter? The mouthfeel is much thinner than I remember and I’m really not getting the butterscotch notes I’ve come to expect. If I’m being honest, this is pretty disappointing. 3.65.

    This is Total Wine’s 2018 single barrel selection. Very light copper color. The nose has an extremely pleasant sweet honey, vanilla, mildly floral and earthy aroma. The palate is far less sweet and muted than the nose would suggest and much earthier/woodier. The mouthfeel is soft and fairly full without much in the way of alcohol burn. While this is a smooth and easy drinking extra anejo, I’d hoped for something bolder...especially considering it’s price tag and rareness. 3.82.

    Orangey-copper in color. Sweet butter, citrus, light wood and brown sugar on the nose. Sweet citrus oil and musty oak on the palate. It’s definitely hot, even after multiple drops of water...but not overwhelmingly so.
