Surprisingly smooth and very full of flavor.

It's fine, I guess, but a little underwhelming.

Sherry cask whiskies aren't my favorite, but this has a good flavor that sticks around for a bit. Not a great scotch, but I would buy again. On second taste, I think I really like this stuff! Great fruit kick early from the sherry cask, slow, mild burn. Spicy, ginger finish that I really dig. Upping to four stars.

It tastes okay, is pretty smooth, and isn't offensive in any way. That is part of the problem, though. It is just boring.

Perhaps my favorite bourbon. Everything is taken to the max, from flavor, to spice, to ABV, to how long the finish is. I can understand some people really not liking it, but if you like complexity and adventure in your bourbon, it seldom gets better.

I'm picky about giving away five stars, but this is damn close. Great flavor, a lot of spice, and a taste that doesn't run away right after finishing your sip. I'll likely never have a point where a bottle of this isn't on my shelf. It'd be a good buy at twice the price.

I'm just not sure the appeal here. In a vacuum, I might rate higher, but this has a premium price tag on it as compared to the black or other as good or better scotches. No thanks.

Well made, I guess, but it's like they are trying to set records for level of peat and the flavor suffers. Unlikely to ever try again.

Good, smooth, but the flavor escape too soon. Better than most whiskies I'd rate at three stars, but not quite on par with four star examples I've had. The Spice Tree is a similar flavor, but much more bold and stays with you for a bit.

Spicy, especially for a blended scotch. The French oak heads definitely play a role in that. Smooth and the taste hands around for a bit. A bolder version of Oak Cross. Will buy again.
