Tastes

Nose is smooth and sweet. Palette is light, smooth, and sweet but not overly sweet, notes of oak. Enjoyable.

Light brown sugar on the nose. Light on the palette. The brown sugar comes through as does some of the barrel. For a ten year bourbon this is _very_ lite on the barrel notes. Easy to sip. Not overwhelming. Tasty. (I did have crazy hot buffalo wings a few hours earlier so my palette may be off).

Tasty. A good go to when out and about.

As expected it is bitey. Nice peppery palette. Not too much going on.

Very smooth. Not much but sweetness on the nose or palette. Inoffensive and not very interesting sipping neat. Haven't mixed it but some of my friends have and this is now their favorite mixer.

Warm wood smells on the nose. Chocolate and coffee on the palette. Nice burn on the the finish. Quite good. The more I sip the stronger the coffee notes become. Different tasting and was getting strong over ripe banana, prunes, and brown sugar notes.

Very light color (compared to bourbons). Medium sized fast tails. Nose is light and enjoyable. Palette is also mild, possibly too mild for my cask strength bourbon tastes. The palette develops some tingle as it develops and lingers after swallowing. No burn.

Spicy on the nose which surprised me for a Woodford product. Small quick tails. The proof is forward on the palette which is odd for the proof. Tingly on the palette and some sweet notes. The finish is quick and has wine notes.

Batch 1: Delicious. Light feel on the palette. Little bit of spice and a nice, but light, amount of barrel. Warm feel on the way down.

Very tasty. Some heat in it. Heat starts early and lasts through the finish. Not over proofed. Working very well with my BBQ.
