Wow best 8 year scotch on earth. Probably one of the best for $100 cad complex malty, vanilla honey apricot, a little sweet ash finish really delicious stuff

Rich and unique but a little hot for a 16 especially an Irish whiskey you expect smooth but I think the rich flavour also and unique floral notes makes up for it. Would love to have a straight up comparison between yellow spot and even a Scottish whiskey like dalwhinnie

I was Really excited to try this one! Loved green spot love the story about the yellow spot recreation it was unfortunately a little hot and unbalanced to my liking it is really unique and flavourful and floral though

Very well balanced but a little hot. Really liked that they cut the red wine cask finish in half because red wine is just too over powering in my whiskies, by aging it half in bourbon it made for a nice balance between dark fruit and vanilla oak flavours well done thanks for an amazing dram.

Drinking this whiskey is an Amazing unique experience! Many people mention different flavours but it hits a strong initial note for me - Being a kid at Christmas Eating my moms homemade raisin tarts. After that delicious note it evolves into a kind of sweet lingering musty note which I haven’t really tasted before I’ll have to drink it again to try and pick it out from other reviews maybe it was leather or old oak. Really complex insanely smooth. Perfect representation of an amazing 21 year old whiskey should be!

Wow! Really love everything about this whiskey 🥃! Great story and a unique barrel finish on an already amazing whiskey. If you like lagavulin but want a little chocolate malt in there try this! I thought it was smoother than the 16 and finish was longer and gentler. This would be a perfect whiskey to bring to a whiskey night or to introduce someone to Islay!! Excellent work Mr. Offerman

Laphroig 10 is already a fave so you can’t go wrong with aging it more in sherry!! Tasted side by side with the 10 and they are both great in their own right. The sherry cask offers notes of Black Forest cake fruit chocolate and of course classic Smokey notes

Will have to compare wide by side with the 10 but a lot of similar notes. This was citrus, honey, sweet and floral however let it breathe a little. I can also taste a little astringent burn you get from a young whiskey but overall good. Price is confusing for a mixer here at $70 tax in!! there are way better offerings at this price point here in BC at 40-50 cad this would be a winner!

Really unique whiskey 🥃 I got this unusual miso soup note and this eucalyptus then of course the dark fruit and smoke and that smoke really lingers ! Would now love to try more Octomores !!

More Laphroig than other ardbegs ! With medicinal notes and rubber and is surprisingly smooth at 47 abv! I thought the youth and abv would be a punch in the face but it works they created a really delicious 5 year old dram! Going to do a blind taste with Laphroig 10 later in the week!
