Not too sweet, just the right amount of peat and sweet notes from the PX barrels.. Pairs well with strong Imperial Stout beer. Great whisky.

I just made myself an Old Fashioned cocktail with Balcones Texas Rye whiskey. Balcones Texas Rye is strong, bold, spicy and full of flavors. I can't even describe all the flavours. This could be 4 or 5 stars depending on where the wind blows. Great rye whiskey and one of my favorites.

The whisky is good, pleasant and balanced. You can find vanilla, malt, honey and oak in the taste. However, the first impression is watery because the strength is only 40% ABV in Europe. Lucky you with the strength of 43%>

This Glenlivet Licenced Dram is a very good and high quality whisky. It is like the old faithful Bunna 12 that has been finished in a sherry cask. This is even better than the wonderful Illicit Still bottling.

Always a quality whisky I can trust. Delicious toffee, nuts, malt and sweetness. The taste and aroma tempt me to take another sip. My trusty and favorite whisky.

Great Easter surprise. Sherry is not too prominent, but gives way to fruity flavours and malty notes. This whisky is creamy and mouth-coating. Fine whisky to enjoy at Easter holidays.

Honey, marzipan, dark berries, oak and leather. Full of flavors. Oaky, leathery and dry finish with light and sweet berry notes. Let your whisky sit in the glass for ten minutes or so. Good whisky at a fair price. My date stamp: L033C L04 31/08

Rich in taste, oily and mouth coating, malty, spicy with red wine tannins. Great whiskey.
