Glenfiddich Project XX
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed February 4, 2023 (edited November 2, 2023)Damn good effort and result from Glenfiddich. Nose: simple and pleasant: oak, berries, caramel, honey and malt. Palate: berries, honey, oak, malt, and smooth toffee notes The finish is smooth: toffee, berries, dry wood and soft honey notes. This whisky restored my faith in Glenfiddich again.50.0 EUR per Bottle -
Knob Creek 9 Year Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed March 22, 2022 (edited March 27, 2022)This whiskey is young, wild and raw. Hard to believe it's 9 long years old. Nose: molasses, ripe sherries, vinegar, strawberries, white grapes Palate: grapes, dark sugars, sherry, raisins, winegum, spices Finish: light body, spices, short warming finish Good for cocktails!40.0 EUR per Bottle -
Nowadays surprisingly sweet, balanced and smoky. Mouthfeel is rounded and sweet: toffee and berries and honey. The finish brings out the peat, smoke and honey of whisky, and the peat spreads and fills the palate. Great whisky together with Earl Grey tea. Only the punch and the bite are missing.50.0 EUR per Bottle
