Tastes

This is fantastic. It's almost sweet. Super easy to drink. It might be a new favourite.

Really tasty and full of complex flavours. Fantastic nose. Can be overwhelming with a big sip. Slow and steady for this one. Loving hellyers road.

This surprised me. The tag on the side suggested it be mixed with other drinks so we weren't expecting much. It is easy to drink without any ice or water. The nose is amazing and doesn't seem to match the flavour. It's very tasty and sweet. Not sure how to identify the Rye but it's very nice.

The peat/smoke flavour is just a bit intense for me. It's not a relaxing drink at all. Initially the flavour is as described bring Smokey, the middle is a little bit salty and the rear brings up a little sweetness and some caramel. It's a little complex and I didn't even notice that until I read some other reviews. I had just added a Smokey label to the entire experience which isn't fair as there is a lot more going on. I'll try another BenRiach but with less peat to see how these whiskies behave themselves usually.

This is really tasty. It's not too heavy I'm the throat and initial flavour is clean. I think it's great but not sure, given the cost, I'd pick it over something else.

A gorgeous drop. No over powering flavours or alcohol feel. A splash of water and this is a beautiful Scotch for any day.
