Expected it to be really sweet based on the nose. There is a pleasant brown sugar note but not overly sweet. Good pour, nothing spectacular.

Solid effort. Nice little cinnamon on finish. Doesn’t blow me away, but I dig it.

Rich and full, but too much of a wine finish for me. More burn than I expected as well.

Excellent level of spice and makes some really nice mixed drinks as well.

I realize it can be silly rating a single barrel since I will probably never have it again, but this one honestly was one of the best bourbons I have ever had. It was like vanilla birthday cake. Really rich and I felt like the flavor just lingered for hours after having it.
