Reviewed February 27, 2018 (edited March 14, 2019)Bunnahabhain 12 year old Color – Mahogany Nose w/o water – Orange, dark fruits, sherry, a touch of sweetness, vanilla. Palate w/o water – Rich, vanilla, caramel, spices, and coastal salt with nice fruitiness. Nose w/ water – More dark fruits, richer and richer. Nosing this dram is a delight. Orange and spice are prevalent. Palate w/ water – Buttery/creamy, vanilla, caramel, spicy, salty and rich! Finish – Medium Oily-ness and lingering. Excellent! One of my go-to whiskys. An everyday kind of dram.
