Honey, caramel, spicy and plenty woody. Quality American single malt

One the nose: Sweet citrus, vanilla and a touch of woodiness. On the palate: lemon/lime, vanilla and butterscotch, a light woodiness (likely from the virgin oak), a touch of red fruit (likely from the sherry cask), an earl gray tea note, and an interesting bitterness. A very unique Speyside that is very pleasing and complex for the age. Very happy with this bottle!

On the nose: peat, smoke, vanilla, and a light presence of red fruit On the palate: peat, smoke, surprisingly big vanilla, black pepper, dark chocolate, a touch of red fruit from the sherry cask, and molasses. Super interesting Islay. More rounded and friendly than the 10, but very lively and punchy nonetheless.

On the nose: big plum, fig and raising with butterscotch and vanilla. On the palate: holy sherry bomb, big raisin, plum and fig, vanilla, and light spiciness. An excellent intro to sherry cask for the price, or a great daily drinker for the sherry fan or especially Macallan fan.

On the nose: butterscotch, cotton candy, fig and raisin On the palate: raisin, fig, vanilla, dark honey, and some oakiness. I’ve found a lot of sherry finished single malts to be overly rounded, but this is still nice and lively. Great sherry cask finish

On the nose: vanilla, berries, and butterscotch On the palate: raspberry jam, vanilla, honey, orange zest and milk chocolate. Fruity and rich and a nice change of pace from bourbon and sherry cask.

On the nose: lemon, pineapple, honey, some sherry character, and a touch of smoke On the palate: light smoke, honey, orange, jasmine/herbal tea, and a touch of iodine. Finishes sweet and lasts a little bit. A personal favorite

My very first single malt, and one I still happily drink. Notes of butterscotch, honey, vanilla, apple, a touch of sherry, a little bit of spice and green grass. Not gonna not my socks off, but puts a smile on my face

Iodine, peat, smoke, brine, and black pepper are accompanied by accents of vanilla, tropical fruit, black cherry and banana. A peat bomb accompanied and accented with sweetness for contrast - absolutely awesome

Caramel, red apple, vanilla, cherry, honey, nutmeg, allspice and oak, with that signature Buffalo Trace leathery/astringent finish. Worth every penny for the $47 I scored it for, but not at all worth a cent above $60 for the quality in my opinion
