I’m a fan of finished whiskeys. This one doesn’t disappoint. Berries on the nose and pallet along with cinnamon and the expected caramel.

I was excited for a 100% mashbill. I can get salted caramel in the nose. Taste is a bit flat with plenty of pepper notes.

I have Yellow Spot too. I get everything I expect, this is very fruity. I actually got a lime note that really baffles me, but it is delicious!

Such an amazing smell. So many flavors I couldn't pick out I actually had to "cheat" and look up some tasting notes on this one. I can get the pine, and anise. Good light rye notes during tasting. Think what you want of MGP, this is pretty delicious.

Tobacco and chocolate on the nose. I can get oak, chocolate, and burnt caramel on tasting.

Very fruity on the nose with a banana note. Taste is vanilla and caramel. An amazing pour.

Strong oak on the nose, after it breathed for 5-10 minutes the nose changed completely. I was getting brown sugar and fruit notes. On the pallet it also has a strong oak flavor with a touch of vanilla. After the same 5-10 minute breath, I was suddenly tasting a delicious toffee note.

The peanut and caramel toffee flavor is all over this on the nose, pallet, and back. Very sweet like a dessert whiskey.

I get the apple on the nose immediately. Once I got through the youth burn it carried, I could get some caramel and cinnamon spice on the back. For 100% rye I suppose that alcohol burn should be expected. For a younger WP I’m happy with the purchase and likely will have it again.
