818 Tequila Reposado
Tequila Reposado — Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed January 21, 2022 (edited March 31, 2022)Super sweet and buttery. The extra anejo is like rich pecan pie and caramel. This is like the lighter step-sister. So tasty. -
Bozal Mezcal Espadín-Barril-Mexicano
Mezcal Joven — Oaxaca, Mexico
Reviewed January 12, 2022 (edited November 5, 2022)I do not have much experience on which to gauge this mezcal. It is smoky, lightly herbal, with a tinge of sweetness and a rubber-quality. That rubber dissipates quickly, but I don’t find it very pleasing. Once it’s gone, you’re left with a pleasant tequila that is much reminiscent of scotch than anything else. -
Glenmorangie Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 4, 2022Lightly peated, but that Sherry shines through quickly. It finishes super fruity and vibrant - almost like candy. Really delicious -
NULU Toasted Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — (bottled in) Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 24, 2021 (edited February 7, 2022)Total Wine Pick. Definitely has the toasted profile. Smells sweet, like marshmallows, toffee, and praline. Drinks similarly. At 124 proof, you wouldn’t expect it.
