Tastes a lot like Blanton’s- creamy caramel without much of a bite. A little bit more of a punch though, more like Eagle rare

Had the last half pour in the bottle at a bar. I could tell it had been hanging out in an empty bottle for a while, but still a damn good pour

The port finish adds a lfruity character that falls on the lighter side- kind of like a pinot grigio wine. Not really any oak, but the carmelly corn character of a bourbon is there, bot not front and center. I get a lot of brine on this- almost like a Talisker storm scotch, but with the bourbon backbone. Maybe its just me. Its pleasant. Not really complex or challenging. Good to try, but not one i think i’ll reach for very often

Nose is a lot of dried fruit (fig, raisin, maybe a little pear) with a touch of herbal clove spice and some honey sweetness. Taste has a nice almost jammey dried fruit hit on the front surrounded by a good bitey clove-cinnamon kick. That chills out on the mid palette and molds into this nice almost peachy honey / brown sugar sweetness that hangs in the center-back of the tongue for a bit on the finish (medium-short). A bit of oak spice on the finish too. Im surprised how much i like this. Its more interesting than I expected, but also a pretty easy drinker

26yr old Canadian whiskey finished in Weller barrels. At 76% adv, it’s really damn hot- which is noticeable, but not nearly to the extent I expected. A bit of water opens it up nice. Really good Canadian whiskey with some fruit and lots of maple honey action. Nice medium-long finish too. Very enjoyable

Really good. Grape/ plum / dark fruit is definitely the predominate flavor. Has a nice carmel wrapper around it, as BT whiskeys do. A hint of vanilla comes in on the back end

All of the deep rich flavors are emphasized here: d deep oak, baking spice, caramel, toffee, vanilla with a bit of maple and bright cherry around it all. Some fruit comes out on the end, but it seems to mostly finish with a spicy vanilla oak that hangs for a while. Medium finish. Not typical for makers, and really good. Love the nice sweet cherry pastry-like flavors with a good punch - up my alley.

Pretty good. Not a lot to the nose- pretty cut and dry young oak and vanilla. A bit of jammy peach-like notes in there too. Vanilla opens up big on the palette with a honey sweetness. Tastes like a high rye profile- a little bit of that jammy fruit with the green tea flavor / rye spice comes out, mostly on the tail end. It’s youth shows a little on the tail end, but only if your passing attention. Finishes hangs for a little bit, dissipating into a white pepper spice

Kind of a rasin-like honey flavor to it. A bit of a dry oak toang around the edges

It has that same muted / rounded but rich carmel butterscotch flavor that i get from Eagle Rare, just less oak, a little thinner, and a little more brightness / bite On the back end that comes from the youth
