The age of this is probably the first thing I noticed, definitely tasted young. The flavor profile was more like a Speyside or Highland scotch, that’s the only way I can describe it. Overall, drinkable but nothing I would go back to. I live in Maine, we should just stick to our lobster!

This tasted like a liquid candy bar to me but the nose is where it really shined!

Definitely on the sweeter side for a bourbon. I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever been able to get the notes of banana that people speak of. Overall, very smooth for almost 50% ABV and refreshingly different in my opinion.

Bought a bottle from Total Wine in Massachusetts from 2019. I’ve always been a huge fan of the normal double rye, it is what opened my eyes to the rye world and I still consider it one of the best bangs for your buck. This has a little less on the nose but packs considerably more flavor on the palate than the traditional.

Not all hero’s wear capes! Is this the best tasting bourbon I’ve had? No, but this is damn good and at this bargain price, I challenge you to find a better bang for the buck!!

Wow is this stuff smooth!! I was expecting it to be much hotter because of the ABV but not the case at all. That being said, I do prefer full proof bourbons but this one blew my mind. Not only is it ultra smooth but it is packed with flavor. I bought myself this batch and batch 21 for my brother as a gift, glad I did so I can try both. I will being trying more of these for sure!

Single Barrel store pick from Total Wine. It is very good but not mind blowing in any way. It is extraordinarily smooth for the high alcohol content.
