Tasted OK but couldn’t get past the smell of nail polish remover.

What a great pour! The different barrel finishes are no doubt there but not overpowering in any way. I feel like the longer it sits and opens up, the more rye that seems to show its face. Great complex rye!

Great stuff. Very tasty and smooth. You can call me crazy but I got the “chicken bones” candy both on the nose and taste. Maybe I’ve had too much bourbon tonight but it is delicious either way!

Wish this was more readily available, outstanding rye at a reasonable price when you can find it!

I was delightful surprised with this. Lighter in color than a typical bourbon but very smooth. Slightly sweet on the front end and I got a slight char flavor on the back end. Good bang for the buck on this one!

I really wanted to love this because I love the beer but this is a strong nope for me. Definitely unique but couldn’t get past the aftertaste. I did however get the chocolate on the nose and tasting notes as others have said, which was great until the finish!

Had it at the distillery and bought a bottle because it stood out as far as how smooth it was. Got back to my home state and just tried it again, I am not disappointed in my purchase. The rye is there but not overwhelming, and just as I remember, super smooth. At the price point, it is a good buy!

One word, amazing! I’ve only somewhat recently started enjoying ryes but this jumped straight to the top of my list!
