Toasted Butter, caramel, light smoke

A favorite of mine. Slight burn on initial taste, but well rounded taste.. mild peat, a little sweet, and vanilla notes.

I tried drinking with ice first. Mistake. It had strong vanilla, then cardamon overwhelms it and killed the flavor for me. I've had WhistlePig before and enjoyed it much more. I was very disappointed. I cleared my palate and tried it again full strength. Just my opinion, but the extra heat made the flavor better balanced.

Vanilla nose, light sweet taste with a hint of raisin. A bit too fruity for my taste, but it is mild overall.

Very smooth for 50% ABV. Floral, vanilla, nutty, herbal.. Better than I expected given others reviews.

Salty, moderate smoke, mild vanilla, bit of oily taste as it rolls back in the throat. First taste has a decent burn, but mellows on second taste (still there though). In the end, it is a very satisfying dram that I will happily enjoy again.

Smooth smoke, a little grassy, good introduction to smokey Scotch.

Nice smooth level of smoke and peat. A bit of bite but not too harsh. Caramel and vanilla notes
