Port Charlotte 10 Year
Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandTastedSmoky sweet oily and spicy, a pleasant drink around the camp fire with good friends.
The Glenlivet First Fill 12 year
Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandTastedIt was a sweet glenlivet, well balanced. But it felt like it was missing something, not as complex as I would of liked. For the price you couldn’t beat it though.30.0 USD per Bottle
Oban 14 Year
Peated Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedIt reminded me of thanksgiving desert, sweet fruity flavors with caramelized toasted nuts. Even with the sweetness it was a complex profile and pleasant on the nose.
Ardbeg 10 Year
Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandTastedNicely smoky, with a spicy oak front. Full flavor that the stronger abv. brings to the table.
Peated Single Malt — Islands, ScotlandTastedA light smoke and spicy note. You can taste the lightly salty sea spray.
Batch 206 Counter Gin
Modern Gin — Washington, USATastedMaybe good as a mixer with a light summer cocktail, kinda plain. One flavor seems to throw it off for me.
Hayman's Old Tom Gin
Old Tom Gin — EnglandTastedIt is sweet with a fruity floral complex flavor, the spiciness hits across the back of the tongue as a nice compliment.
Bombay Sapphire East Gin
London Dry Gin — EnglandTastedA very smooth and well balanced gun, not overly fruity or spicy but has a long slow burn on the back end of the taste. Enjoy the hit of lemon grass on the front.
Broker's Gin (47%)
London Dry Gin — EnglandTastedVery high on the juniper with a smooth spicy finish, not quite taking the reins of my favorite beefeater gin. I can definitely see myself preferring this one night over beefeater for a change of pace.
Beefeater London Dry Gin (47%)
London Dry Gin — EnglandTastedVery spicy, it travels all the way into your nose like a hit of horseradish. Traveling back across the tongue is a complexity of flavors that my inebriate mind can’t differentiate. The go to of myself and my family.
