    Sweet oaky nose. Sweet vanilla flavor with notes of oak & honey with hints of spice. Spicey oak finish with notes of vanilla & honey. Also has a hint of spearmint in the finish. Mashbill: 78% corn, 12% malted barley & 10% rye (the same mashbill Heaven Hill uses for Evan Williams single barrel vintage but older). Whiskeys used aged from 8 to 12 years.

    Gift set sample: Vanilla & caramel nose with a touch of oak. Caramel flavor blacked by oak with hints of spearmint. Oak finish with a touch of sweetness & spice. 4/5 2005 vintage; Vanilla nose with a touch if heat. Sweet vanilla flavor with a light caramel & oak note. Light vanilla finish with a touch of spearmint. Vanilla lingering flavor that gives way to a flash of heat. 3/5 @ Twin Peaks Mesquite Mashbill: 78% corn, 12% malted barley & 10% rye (the same mashbill Heaven Hill distillery uses for the Elijah Craig small batch but younger age). Aged 7 to 8 years old.
