Brenne French Single Malt Whisky
Single Malt — France
Reviewed March 3, 2018 (edited March 10, 2018)Neat: Love the candy (almost Smarties candy like) nose. This whisky benefits from a small glass that helps concentrate the smell. A wine glass like glass can present a smell of over ripened bananas. Power sugar flavor (again like Smarties candy). Light sweet finish with a touch of vanilla/oak. Light powered sugar finish. -

Glenlivet Founder's Reserve

Reviewed February 22, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Neat: Sweet oak flavor with notes of vanilla. Sweet oak dominated finish. Long dry oak lingering flavor. At Sports Cafe Mesquite, Tx. -
Dark fruit, oak, green apple & a touch of peat. Sweet peaty with notes of pear & mint. Oak dominated finish. Lingering earthy & fruity flavor with notes of smoke. Reminds me of Glenfiddich 12 but much softer/better. No alcohol sting. With two dashes of Angostura; Peaty notes of the whisky work well with the herbal sweetness of Angostura. At The Libertine, Dallas
