High West Campfire (Discontinued)
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in Utah), Multiple Countries
Reviewed July 23, 2019Tasted 7/17/19 I don't know the exact percentages between the three whiskies, but i would say that the peated scotch overcomes the whole flavor profile and not necessarily in a good way. For me, this was not a good blend, but i think for the scotch drinkers out there, this may be a nice transition into the American whiskey world! Unfortunately as a bourbon and rye fan, it ain't for me. -
Oban Distillers Edition

Tasted at Whiskey House SD on 6/26/19. The nose on this smells like old furniture and a bit musty, but in a way that makes sense for a 21 year old whisky! On the pallet the fruit flavor really shine, but i wouldn't say that they are over powering. It is definitely different from any Japanese whisky i have tasted, but for me I am curious to try the Hibiki 17 year because I think that is probably a better age for this particular whisky.
