I agree with the consistent finding of a great value bourbon. Nice warmth. I can smell a burnt brown sugar sweetness that comes through early in the flavor. Lingering honey flavor. I really like the balance.

Actually farmstock #2: great nose! Nice warmth. Buttery caramel up front. There’s a little floral/ herby finish (maybe dill?) great rye!

2nd listed tasting, they truly have a great balance of heat. I like this batch more than the last. Nice caramel flavors. Less coffee flavor, which I like.

Not super smooth or complex. I really like the heat. Great spice.

Very wheat heavy flavor. Unfortunately I’m not a huge wheat guy. Nice subtle flavors of caramel and vanilla, but subtle.

Aged version: all or nothing Very smooth and rather sweet. Caramel flavor is consistent and becomes more potent as it lingers.

Very corn forward, which makes sense from its mash. Taste some mild smoke up front. Nice and simple.

Still among my favorites. Still love the great heat. I still get vanilla, burnt marshmallow, caramel flavors as an after taste (see last tasting note). This time around, I can taste much more of the pickle brine up front. Subtle coffee flavor following is another thing I didn’t notice previously.

I’m not a huge peat fan and this scotch has plenty. Smokey though out. Still quite smooth. Slight sweetness up front. I prefer it well chilled.
