Less fruity than a Macallan. A lot like the Balvanine, but cheaper. Smooth, easy down the throat neat. On the rocks a lot like the Toki - not better, but close. A worthy option for a normal night when you want something besides the Glenmorainge. Now part of the rotation.

A less sherry version of macallan. Definitely on the smooth side you see with the Japanese whiskies but with a hint of fruity, not as much as macallan but more fruit, less bite (like you’d have with a Glenmorainge. It’s great neat or on the rocks. A little pricey but a new favorite.

Kinda like macallan - smooth, as smooth as the Toki, but also very sherry tasting. Not much of a bite. It’s good but is it $115 good? Nah.

A sweet single malt but without the sherry, it's more of a honey taste. The bite is gentle but more than the Japanese, somewhere btw a Toki and a Bowmore. And for a $52, this is now a staple for my sipping. Very good. Very mature.

Disappointed. Good but not great. Muted taste, and most disappointingly, there's not much sherry and a lot of bourbon. So not the Macallan you want and definitely not worth the $250 price.

Spice = cheap Jim Beam/Evan Williams Splenda-tasting sweetness and burn. Fruity I guess. Hate it.
