Tastes

On the nose, rich caramel, vanilla. On the palate I’m getting a toffee/caramel mixture on the tongue, sweetness almost immediately on the first sip and then that nice burn, similar to a Buffalo trace in terms of sweetness but not too heavy, just enough balance. Gives off a nice coating on the palate as well where you really taste the vanilla and a great alcohol heat, not harsh, longer finish than I expected. Definitely pleased with this bottle! Easy to drink, smooth, great flavour. I would buy this bottle again in a heart beat, must have in my reserve. Absolutely love it !

Slightly sweet with honey and vanilla notes. It has a bourbon feel with the spice notes mixed in with sweetness from the vanilla and honey. Im also getting a subtle vanilla/cocoa wafer cookie sweetness to it on the nose as well which is interesting when you take the time to go back and smell a couple of times. The more I go back for another sip, I notice it gets sweeter as you go on the tongue and then a short burn on the end.

The nose is rich and spicy. The flavour on the palate is spicy but sweet at the same time, you can really taste sherry cask. Amazing flavour, definitely would buy this !

The peat smoke is present on the pallet yet subtle enough to allow you to get the floral notes and sweetness to it! Nice spice touch, really smooth!

Creamy caramel and vanilla on the palate with a hint on cinnamon spice. On the nose there’s more of the cinnamon. Almost buttery smooth. Great bourbon ! Definitely would buy this again!!

On the nose and palate i get a hint if orange citrus aromas. On the palate, sweet and fruity flavours paired with a nice smoke. Spicy finish. Very smooth.

The peat smoke is evident on the nose and palate. Very earthy aromas with slight scent of leather which is interesting. Almost no burn at the end, smooth, long finish. I really like the smokiness to this Islay.

Sweet and buttery aromas on the nose. Also sweet on the tip of the tongue and palate, smooth and buttery flavour lingers a while on the palate as well nicely. Has a nice burn/spice finish.

Peat smoke definitely present on the nose and palate with a very subtle hint of citrus fruit sweetness on both as well. The finish is soft and the smokiness fades away nicely.

Sweet on the nose, with hints of peppermint and cinnamon spice on the palate. Not smoky, smooth, spicy after taste. Mint flavour lingers for a while afterwards.
