    Smooth, light and creamy, with a slight hint of oil and floral space. Like Crystal Head but a hint heavier/more oil. $36 in Ontario.

    Rich sugar, like sucking on a sugar cube. Soft molasses and slight tropical fruit, finishing slightly dry. It tastes like a hangover, sweet and thin. I’d take Bacardi Black over this. $27 in Ontario.

    Quite sweet, almost powdered sugar but still agave. A tad oily, and a gentle hint of smoke. I like the soft smoke but it’s overly sweet for me. $60 in Ontario.

    Very smooth. Rich brown sugar sweetness and warm roasted agave. A little sweet/syrupy for my taste but it’s great quality. Not available in Ontario.

    Sweet corn, light caramel, oak, and acidic floral spice, finishing with lingering cinnamon hearts candy. Not as good as I was hoping for. The floral acidity kills it for me. $50 in Ontario.

    I’m not sure how Jack tasted what he did. I’m by no means a Mezcal expert but I get deep charred peat smoke. Ardbeg on quick first impression. Fading to light sweet agave with lingering dry char. $70 in Ontario.

    Like Don Julio’s Clara I was hoping for more. Considering it’s made from reposado, anejo and extra anejo it only tastes like a blanco. Brock’s Distiller notes are excellent. I can see where he got each note in his taste profile but all I really get personally is light powdered sugar sweet agave with very lightly roasted caramelization. It also has a grain Vodka type taste mid palate. It’s really not bad but I was really hoping for more flavour. For the price and the light sweet profile I’d take Don Julio’s Blanco over this any day. $75 in Ontario.

    Rich chewy caramelized oak, dark brown sugar, rye, and a slight hint of cinnamon. To me it tastes like a super concentrated version of Blanton’s, with less toffee sweetness. Where as Wild Turkey Rare Breed and Booker’s have a strong savoury peanut note this is all about the oak. A good high proof option. For me there’s not enough sweetness to balance out the dark oak and high proof to make it an enjoyable sipper. $85 in Ontario.
