Tastes

BIG! 4.5 for sure, so different than the Weller 107 or EW SB. So much in there that one can taste something new everytime they taste this. RIch, holds up well with a few drops of water.

Ambrosia, reminds one of winter; fruit cake (rum soaked,) mulled wine and vanilla. Yummy!

Let's call that 2.5 stars... a medicinal quality to this that doesn't do it for me. Will not be buying again.

Wow, last specimen of a Japanese whisky flight... I'd call it dessert whisky. Somewhere in the range of Turkish apricot and dates. At home with my own bottle. Not refined but yummy and interesting! Dark fruit up front with other rich sweet notes but fades out on the back end. Still amazing, could smell this all night!"

3.5 Smooth and beautiful.

4.5 Bang for the buck IMO this can't be beat. Wonderful throughout. A must have.

Nice, not spectacular. Very pleasant nose, good front end, fades on the finish.
