I'm not here to wax poetic about the nose or the palate, there are much more qualified people to do that, I'm here to have fun with whiskey. And you should be too.
Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed August 30, 2020 (edited February 16, 2021)Typical bourbon notes. Sweet, slightly floral, caramel, vanilla, thick mouthfeel. Nice, but it's hard to imagine why one would pay a $20 premium over the small batch. It becomes an even harder pill to swallow given some of the excellent private selections I've had. Not displeased but I won't be buying another bottle any time soon.50.0 USD per Bottle

Driftless Glen Small Batch Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Wisconsin, USAReviewed July 9, 2020 (edited July 10, 2020)Batch 21 | Tastes like a young bourbon with potential. A little cardboardy, a little grainy, a little dry and bitter, with a forgettable finish that disappears pretty rapidly. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with down the road.
Ardbeg Wee Beastie
Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandReviewed July 9, 2020 (edited July 11, 2020)After sitting with this for awhile longer I still don't mind it, but Ardbeg 10 is better and usually just a few dollars more so I'm not sure why you'd choose this over 10. Unless they're planning a price hike on 10 to make this seem like more of a deal.
