Tastes

Kind of a burnt fruit and herb combination on the nose. Medium bodied, slight salinity, smoky, peaty. Even more so with a couple of drops of water. Not terribly complex, pretty one-dimensional with burnt smokiness, not getting much beyond that.

First of all, delicious. Huge nutty, sherry nose. Full bodied, rich mouthfeel, very luscious. Plenty of sherry flavors throughout from the lengthy time spent in those barrels, slightly sweet cherry balanced with the tannin from the wood.

Butterscotch and sweetened nuts hit the nose immediately. Mostly smooth mouthfeel, some nice fruitiness in the mid palate. Just short of cloying. Slight burn on the finish that isn't unpleasant but warming. Notes from the sherry cask aging noticeable throughout.

Smoky aroma, almost like a cooling fireplace, filed by notes of caramel. Very smooth, easy, almost too ready. Pretty smoky finish. Quite good for the price.

Mild alcohol detected on the nose, sense some oiliness as well. Creamy mouthfeel with a light sweetness along with some very nice spice and clove and green apples. Could sip this all night. Definitely returning to this one in the future

Slightly smokier style, notes of char. It's sweet with hints of apples, caramel and vanilla and a wisp of that smokiness. Less bite and more sweet than regular Jameson on the finish.

Aroma of chocolate and coffee and underlying oak. Creamier mouthfeel with some coffee notes. Same Jameson bite on the finish just with a lingering pleasant chocolate and coffee and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Not very good by itself. Just fine mixed with a spiced old fashioned mixer

Great for the price, some spice, surprisingly smooth, semi sweet finish. Fine by itself, great for cocktails too

Thinner than expected, some smoky notes, extremely smooth to the point that there is no complexity and the finish is very short. Not bad but I'll spend my money elsewhere. Worth trying once
