Reviewed September 25, 2020 (edited May 10, 2021)Rye is stronger on the nose in this one than in the other two ages (13 and 18) but it still has that wintry evergreen note along with baking spices and honey. This one tastes more like a traditional rye as well, interestingly enough, while the 13 and 18 are extremely unique. -

Rebel Yell 10 Year Single Barrel Bourbon

Reviewed September 25, 2020 (edited December 14, 2020)Dark fruits like plums and dates are strong on the nose along with rose perfume and vanilla. Vanilla extract and banana candies are some of the flavors with baking spices and a toasted oak finish. -
Old Tub Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Reviewed September 25, 2020 (edited October 17, 2020)The nose is all vanilla and oak. This is ridiculously smooth for unfiltered bourbon. The vanilla and oak are prominent on the tongue as well. Straightforward but a hell of an easy drinker. -

Reviewed September 25, 2020 (edited August 10, 2021)Peat, fresh-cut oak, new rubber, and brine are some of the well-balanced aromas. This dram has a very dry mouth feel with notes of sweet tobacco, tar, rubber, smoke, and a whole lot of brine. -
George Dickel TABASCO Brand Barrel Finish
Flavored Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed September 25, 2020The Tabasco is pretty evident on the nose. The corn tries to push through the wall of hot sauce. It is initially quite sweet on the tongue with Tabasco pepper coming through right after. Unique but nothing complex. -

Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed September 16, 2020The nose is powerful, sweet, and earthy, with elements of cognac, pipe tobacco, cherries, orange peel, and chestnut. The flavor is warm and toasty, with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, wood, and mushrooms. This is an astoundingly complex and enjoyable dram. -

Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed September 16, 2020There is a delicate sherry sweetness to the nose with fruits like plum and quince along with fresh cut tobacco. This dram has a sinus clearing burst of heat that quickly dissipates into oak, chestnut, and vanilla, eventually leading to a dry floral finish. -

Reviewed September 16, 2020There are aromas of prunes, hazelnuts, and rubber with a light medicinal note. The flavor is very unique but actually somewhat matches the nose, with prunes, rubber, flowers, bitter greens, and ointment.
