I've had this in my cabinet since the later 1990s. Light floral nose and light yellow color. Light non-viscous body, sweet grain, fruit, and vanilla in the mouth. light peat. My tastes changed to smokier peatier scotches, hence why I still have this. Clean and easy to drink, a classic highland, but not particularly memorable.

Absinthe — California, USA
Reviewed June 7, 2019 (edited January 27, 2024)dark dark herbal green. anise and mint and sweetness on the nose. anise dominates on the palate, with mint and herbs and alcohol heat. coating oily mouthfeel. afertaste is long, sweet fading to dry, and then mint and stinging nettles leave a tingling sensation on lips and tongue. big big flavors. like all the St Georges products, this is quality, well made and inventive. may not work in some lighter cocktails, but this is my favorite absinthe.
