High quality product for the price, which kicks it from a 4 to a 5 rating. Floral grassy nose, balanced grain and oak body, and a spicy rye finish, all with a 100 proof kick. Great mixer for classic cocktails, or drink it with a little ice. Every time I retaste this it rises in comparison to the much more expensive ryes I've been drinking.

People love this, maybe because its a little light on the rye. Spice, cocoa, grain sweetness. Vanilla and oak.

Perfect for mixing. Smooth corn and vanilla sweetness, just a touch of spice and apple fruit. Not overly complex, but a solid bourbon base for any cocktail.

What I get served on Delta Airlines when I ask for a bourbon. Butterscotch and vanilla, corn sweetness and only a little oak, clean finish. One dimensional at 50ml a serving.

Barely rye. More corn bourbon than rye flavors. Maybe a place to start for somebody wanting to try rye for first time. It is good, sweet, rich, very soft... It's just not a true spicy rye.

A ton of spice and mint and ethanol in this bottle. Needs more age to soften the sharp edges. Ice helps. Mixes well in cocktails like a Manhattan with other strong/sweet components.

Medium body wheat whiskey, nothing overly complex. Cooked sweet cereal, even floral, flavor profile. Creamy, but light enough that it disappears in a cocktail against other strong flavors, so better sipped. Very good if you appreciate it for what it is (a young wheat whiskey) and isnt, and what Dry Fly is building in the Pacific NW. I like this company's approach and look forward to seeing them age their whiskey over 4 years on a regular basis
