    had this 10 years ago when they were first starting. iodine and dust. I understand it's a better product now--their single barrel bourbon and Outryder certainly are quality products.

    vanilla and sweet grain on the nose, smoke, oak, and sweet corn follow. medium body and good mouthfeel. great for sipping or mixing.

    spicy rye comes through up front. not sweet, but floral vanilla oak and then dry finish. nice rye to sip, but pricey for the competition out there.

    Great representation of Japanese style and distilling skill. Light in color, vanilla oak and grass hay on the nose. Sweet corn, cereal grain, vanilla, and caramel in the mouth. Oily mouthfeel, short finish with a little oak and spice. Japanese whisky without the peat smoke.

    Another unusual gin flavor profile people will love or hate, depending on how you're drinking it. Sweet and lightly floral, with just a little spice or juniper. Medium viscosity and mouthfeel. Mix it in a simple Tom Collins to taste it. Beautiful color.

    My standard for gin. Juniper dominates, but not a heavy piney-woods scent. Sweet and creamy in the mouth, balanced by dry coriander and cardamom. Vanilla merges with a light lemon peel flavor. Long dry finish, soft and warming. Juniper, herbal spice, citrus, clean and distinctive flavor works in any cocktail. Not as juniper-forward as some London dry gins, but softer and more balanced all around. If I had only one gin on the shelf it would be Plymouth, everyday.
