Gabriel Boudier Saffron Infused Gin
Distilled Gin — Dijon, France
Reviewed July 13, 2018 (edited June 13, 2023)Another unusual gin flavor profile people will love or hate, depending on how you're drinking it. Sweet and lightly floral, with just a little spice or juniper. Medium viscosity and mouthfeel. Mix it in a simple Tom Collins to taste it. Beautiful color.32.0 USD per Bottle -
My standard for gin. Juniper dominates, but not a heavy piney-woods scent. Sweet and creamy in the mouth, balanced by dry coriander and cardamom. Vanilla merges with a light lemon peel flavor. Long dry finish, soft and warming. Juniper, herbal spice, citrus, clean and distinctive flavor works in any cocktail. Not as juniper-forward as some London dry gins, but softer and more balanced all around. If I had only one gin on the shelf it would be Plymouth, everyday.32.0 USD per Bottle
