Nose: oak, sweet, floral, cherry Palate: sweet, oak, mild spice Finish: long, sweet, fruity, mild spice Very good. The only other wheated bourbon I’ve tried yet was Makers Mark and this one is definitely better than Makers. Neither has an age statement the Weller seems to have more barrel influence, which makes me think it’s older.

Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed May 12, 2018 (edited June 6, 2018)Nose: light peat, sweet, sherry Palate: light peat, sweet, sherry Finish: light peat, sherry, medium length Some similarities to highland park 12 but smoother and not as complex. More peaty and richer than the black label. Overall very good. -
Nose: fruit (raisins, grapes, apple), sherry, sweet, mild spice, malt, butter, vanilla Palate: thick, rich, sweet, alcohol heat, spicy, a little tart, oak Finish: long, spicy, oak. As the very long finish continues the spiciness goes away, the oak stays, and a little bit of sherry comes back. Overall very good. A rich, complex, and smooth scotch.

Nose: sweet, fruity (apple and berries), sherry, mild spice, mild oak. Palate: smooth texture, a little tart, malt, sweet, fruity, slight sherry notes Finish: tart, a little spicy, a little fruity, medium long finish A complex scotch. The nose is by far the best part. One of the best scotches I’ve tried as far as smell. The palate is very good but did not quite live up to the expectations the nose gave. The finish is very enjoyable.
