    Just good rum. I did not want another bottle of a Bacardi product so I tried this. I was not disappointed. In summer months this is my go-to for homemade mojitos.

    I have a good friend who lives in Miami and owns a fairly prominent nightclub on Calle Ocho. I visit him frequently. He is from Cuba and is one of the nicest guys that I know. He also shares his private stock with me, and that includes cigars and this rum. Havana Club is not my favorite to drink straight (although a little oily, it is still quite good). When it is used in a mojito, Havana Club becomes a gift from the Gods! I have been traveling to Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen a bit and I always bring a few bottles home.

    At one time I thought that this was among the best that an average drinker could afford. I don't know what happened but they seemed to have lost their way. I hope that they improve back to what they were.

    Hands down my favorite tequila. The people who make this claim that it is 'very smooth' There is even a sticker on the bottle proclaiming it. They are not lying to you. This is smooth. This is excellent. Buy this if you can get it.

    I am giving this a very generous 3.0 because 2.0 is a tad too low. I found this to be a bottle of very' alcoholy' tequila. I bought this while on vacation because my go-to tequila is not retailed in the State of Florida. Perhaps the Reposado is better but this was a disappointment.
