Tastes

Nose: Most noticeable were the rum notes, coconut, mild spice, bright, slightly pungent bite on nose at bottom of glass. Notes: not vecoious but soothing texture, complimentary spice and honey note. Crisp Finish: Not as much a tongue tingling as stinging (but damn I'm all about it.) Hits all throughout the center of the tongue. Front to back but heaviest near back. Overall: $49 purchase and took a risk off a suggestion. Money well spent. I could sip this on any occasion.

Overall: Quick Sipper Nose: Bright Apple, Basic, Flat Notes: Bland compared to the other two BiB I tried (OFO and Old Grandad) Finish: Clean, Quick, Dry I'd put down $22 or less on it

Overall: Heavy Hitter. Manhattan Mixer Nose: Edgy, Smokey Oak, Crisp, Juicey, Initially Estringent Notes: Bright, Heater, Nutty Finish: Umami, Mid tongue tingling, Decently Bold, Settles to pleasant ending

Notes:Easy Going, Floral, Vibrant, Full Bodied, Brown Sugar Notes: Oak Smoke dominent Finish: Open Nose, Mid-tongue and tip of tongue tingles, mild activity, Full bodied

Inconclusive: tried from a plastic cup Finish: Bright, thick, spice. Need to retry when LB has better drinkware.

Nose: Toffee Notes: Spice primary, chocolate notes, balanced and muted overall Finish: long finishing, heavy tingling

Nose: Light and easy going, corn mixed with honey. Very pleasant and sweet. Secondary notes of sawmill Notes: tongue tip and enjoyable spicy back, a bit of a ethonal note catches on (taking away from an overall enjoyable bourbon.) Finish: Opens heavier but transitions well, fairly long finish for the proof

Nose: Bread w/ butter, caramel, rolled oats and inviting overall Notes: Heavier on the tongue, soothing, creamy, spicy opening Finish: high tingling, long finish

Nose: Top of glass is fruity transitioning to bright woody notes, similar to a newer rickhouse with lots of ventilation. Bit floral at the bottom. Overall very diverse and clear nose. Big fan on the introduction. Notes: Fresh and crisp, great balance of baking spice on back end. Allspice? Finish: delightful tip of tongue. Soothing warmth on backend. Summary: highly recommended for brighter but complex breaking. Offers a lot at a low proof. Highly impressed.
