Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Bourbon (107 Proof)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 9, 2019 (edited January 11, 2019)Fruity and sweet on the nose. Alcohol is a little overpowering but the flavors that come on the tail are great. Wheat, but sweetness there too that's pretty good. Wood taste rounds it out. Wood is more forward the more I drink it. I like it better than 107The Westy Sports & Spirits -
Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed January 9, 2019 (edited January 11, 2019)Minimal burn, allows the flavors to shine. Excellent grain flavor, not much peat, but there's a ton of sweetness, I assume the rum cask. Very enjoyable. The Westy Sports & Spirits -

Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 23, 2018 (edited January 11, 2019)I like the brightness, has the smoke of a scotch but with a lot of salt. Makes it kind of interesting, with enough richness to keep me happy.South Shores Condominium -

Reviewed December 20, 2018 (edited January 11, 2019)Reminds me a lot of wild turkey rye, very light and fruity. Spice is pleasant, but is kinda one dimensional. lighter and simpler than I prefer.Lake Limerick Country Club -
Spicy, but a little thin. I'm getting mostly wood and spice, oak forward. It reminds me of a thinner knob Creek. Some thickness and it would be amazing. I like how the spice lingers on the tail. I taste darker spices, black pepper and such. Good mouth feel, just missing that richness. There is a sweetness there but it's subtleSeattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
