Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 4, 2018 (edited November 30, 2018)115 proof, so you feel the burn, but the richness makes it okay. Flavor spreads for a long time, subtle spice mostly. Super long tail end. Lovely. -
Fremont Mischief Whiskey
Other Whiskey — Washington, USA
Reviewed November 4, 2018 (edited January 8, 2022)Middle of the road, spicy tail. Nothing really jumps out, but there's minimal burn. Enjoyable, lighter than most ryes I've tried -
Woodinville Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Washington, USA
Reviewed November 4, 2018 (edited November 30, 2018)All spice kick at the beginning, caramel after. Caramel tastes fake, but smells amazing. Lots of barrel burn, but not alcohol burn, the spice makes it pleasant. Pepper? Cinnamon? Smells like heaven. -
Pendleton Original Canadian Whisky
Canadian — Canada
Reviewed November 4, 2018 (edited November 30, 2018)Thin, but sweet and balanced with minimal burn. I taste caramel. A bit of barrel burn but the balance is really good. -

Single Malt — Lowlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 4, 2018 (edited November 30, 2018)Vanilla, oak, and with a hint of smoke. Wonderfully balanced, with all of the flavors mingling perfectly. Love it.
