Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed December 17, 2023**AGED IN HONEY BARRELS FOR 6 MONTHS** Nose - Honey candy sweetness. Super sweet of the nose, like if this was candied. There are some blatant vanilla notes that follow through with notes. Palate - Definitely a touch of sweetness and nuttiness not in a regular SibBP. Combined with some honey, oak and leather. Creme brulee. Finish - Finish is medium with hints of cinnamon, honey, barrel char, and floral notes. -
**MBS PICK DEC 2022” Nose - Very typical rye spice with touches of honey and cinnamon. Very clean and citrusy. Palate - Initially super hot, higher than its proof. Then comes in a rush of sweet and floral notes, not balanced but soothing. It hits your palate hard and then soothes as the burn sets into the palate. Theres some bright wood notes, not oak but something light and bright. Some cream or light bubblegum comes through on second sip, really nice. Finish - Copy past the palate and imagine it longer.
