Port Charlotte MC:01 2009
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 25, 2019 (edited September 29, 2022)Nose: sweet like a ripe fruit. Maybe peaches and cream. There is a whiff of tabacco, this is heavily peated after all. Palate: big juicy cherry, with a dash of toffee. The peat flows along the whole time at a pleasant pace. Finish: sweet and peaty. Long finish that sticks in the back of your throat. Overall: perfect dram. -

Reviewed October 28, 2019 (edited September 17, 2020)Chocolate and vanilla on the nose. On the palate you find that initial sweet note at the front. It shows a salty side as the whisky moves through the mouth, and finishes with a bitter citrus note. All in all an interesting dram12.0 CAD per Shot
