A splendid rye blend with almost no alchohol burn. Excellent for someone toeing the rye waters. Spicey, but not overpowering as some ryes can be.

This is a very special sipper. The slightest burn, but warm flavors of rye wrapped with the sherry sweetness.

Heavy caramel on the nose. This one starts off a bit leathery, but after a few sips morphs into a delightful blend of smokiness and vanilla. A fantastic sipper that you can actually find on a shelf.

Decent for the category with some hints of sherry, but strong alcohol burn on the edge. Not what I would call a smooth sipper by any stretch.

Really a nice drinking bourbon. Personally i taste a little caramel and brown sugar with a peppery finish. Not a bad way to end an evening to be sure.

I have tried a few of these maple ryes and they all leave me wanting better. Whiskey maple syrup is great on pancakes, but this bottle falls short of expectations and leaves a pine tar aftertaste.

Yes it is a Jack Daniels, but no it isn't the traditional Jack. This single barrel is delicious with almost a banana nut bread taste. Highly recommended.
