Here's the whole review: This is 90% of the way to Blanton's if you don't want to wait in line and pay too much for the fancy bottle. It's the same mashbill. It's the same distillery. It's not a single barrel, and it's slightly lower proof. It's almost Blanton's and it's like 16$ for a 750. What do you have to lose?

Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 31, 2023 (edited August 10, 2023)It's fine. There's not much to knock it on, but if I'm completely and totally honest there isn't all that much that really truly stands out either. I would have someone try this as a means of showing them what a good quality middle of the road bourbon ought to be like. If you like it, you like it. Nothing wrong with that. Personally I'd rather have a Four Roses SiB over this for about the same price MSRP, and those are way way way easier to find. Or a Russell's Reserve SiB. Hell, the Russell's Reserve 10yr is far more complex than Blanton's. It's not BAD. It's good. It's just not great value for me. Fun to have on hand, and getting your first one in the wild is a thrill, sure. But IMO if you don't NEED to have it, don't chase it. It's not God's own nectar, there's lots of wonderful bourbon out there.60.0 USD per Bottle -
Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A122
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 10, 2023 (edited April 11, 2023)Excellent pour, especially considering the price. If you can get this at MSRP, I think it's a must grab. I already stated on a prior review that it probably honestly doesn't matter which batch, as I believe they're all likely to be good, but I can now vouch for this particular batch. Deeply sweet, caramels and butterscotch and vanilla cream, something reminiscent of dried fruits like prunes or raisins maybe, slightly drying oak on the back end, hot but that's to be expected at this proof point, just delightful.59.99 USD per Bottle -
Rebel Single Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 31, 2023 (edited July 20, 2023)(OHLQ Barrel Pick) A nice wheated bourbon with a lot of upside to it. I get creamy sweet vanilla notes pretty heavily out of it, both on nose and palate. Reminds me of the flavor profile of a Weller Special Reserve with the volume turned up. Not like an Antique 107 though, as the fruity notes that come forward in that one don't show up as much in this wheater. It's not -incredibly complex- but it is doing more than the WSR does for sure. Quite sweet and has a pretty long and pleasant finish. It is a tad hot, but if you're accustomed to high proof stuff, then you'll probably be right at home here. All in all this is a great sipper with a lot of nice notes to be honest. Knowing how inexpensive the 100 proof of this is, I'm looking forward to checking it out.54.99 USD per Bottle -
Uncle Nearest Uncut/Unfiltered Straight Rye Whiskey
Rye — (bottled in) Tennessee, USA
Reviewed March 25, 2023This is a nicely balanced rye, a little bit atypical of what I normally get out of a rye whiskey, but it's very very enjoyable. If you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary in a rye, don't miss this one.6.5 USD per PourLizardville -
Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C922
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 25, 2023 (edited March 26, 2023)Holy cow. What an excellent pour. Coats the mouth entirely and absolutely belies the proof that this thing is weighing in at. 120+ proof and unbelievably drinkable like this? Actually upsets me how difficult this is to get ahold of, because man. How great is this? If you see one of these, buy it if it's remotely reasonable. Doesn't matter which batch. I'm sure some are better than others. This one's very good. I cannot imagine any are that far off from this. Wow.8.0 USD per Pour -
Simply put, this is Maker's Mark 46 but done even better. It's creamy, it's sweet, it's oaky, it's wonderful. The nose gives me something that reminds me of like... Almost slightly beef jerky-ish? before the oak takes over. Very interesting, but I like it a lot. If there's any part of you that enjoys oak in your bourbon, do yourself a favor and pick this up immediately. It's great.8.0 USD per PourLizardville

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed March 25, 2023Not bad. Best expression of JD I've had, and not by a little bit. It's good, but in the price segment there are a lot of things I'd probably rather have, to be honest. On the palate, I get immediate over-ripe banana peel, which curves pretty nicely into a black tea note for me, which ends on a good bit of oak. It's nice. It's hot. But for the money, give me OF1920.7.0 USD per PourLizardville -
This is a wonderful tequila. Obviously the presentation in the bottle is next level, but sometimes this can be something that elevates the hype above what the juice inside actually delivers. Thankfully, in this case, this doesn't apply. An excellent sipper with well rounded edges and nearly no harshness at all. Tons of vanilla, I also detected a fruity sweetness, somewhat in the direction of a blueberry (those with me that sampled my pour said maybe cotton candy, and as palates can differ, I certainly can understand the cotton candy note). The fruity sweetness fades nicely into a soft agave, and into just a whisper of sweet oak. Wonderful after dinner dessert dram, well worth the money.25.0 USD per PourLittle Palace Restaurant
