This is a great whisky that can teleport you to a time and place, full of sweet salt, brine, a bit of cigar but married together in a rich full flavor that can keep you coming back time and time again. This is a movie in a bottle for the low cost of a modern cinema night out. One of my all time favorites.

One of the smoothest cask strength Irish whiskey's just shy of Writers Tears. The profile is complex and fun with the peat smoke not overbearing. A wonderful new saddle leather quality hums throughout it and is one of a kind in that fashion.

For a low budget Irish whiskey it isn't bad, it has more character than Paddy's albeit not as soft on the stomach but for a low cost cheap night you can do much worse for much more money.
