Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask
Single Malt — Isle of Mull , Scotland
Reviewed July 23, 2022 (edited July 31, 2022)Nose: Salt/saline, smoke, ash, char, peat, rose/floral Palate: Almond, walnut, plum/raspberry, cranberries, dark chocolate, raspberry, dry wood shavings. Very dry and spicy. Finish: Medium long finish. Clove, allspice, salt. Extremely dry smoke, wood shavings and almond. Light berry wisps. This would be a session whisky, but it's just a little too dry. Nutty and oaky, coastal saline, smoke and peat, with a good amount of tart berry sweetness. A decent (very dry!) dram.32.95 GBP per Bottle -

The cow dung hints on the nose are pretty awful, but not to distraction.58.95 GBP per Bottle
